CIWA and Calgary Opera are partnering together to create a singing group for women who are interested in:
- Sharing their cultural music heritage
- Sharing their cultural music heritage
- Learning about different musical cultures and styles
- Developing their voice
- Being a part of a small performance
- Having fun with other women in a safe and supportive environment
Who can join?
- Anyone age 16+ who loves music and singing
- Anyone age 16+ who loves music and singing•Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 or higher recommended
Starting on Wednesday, November 11, the group will meet every Wednesday 5:00pm – 6:15pm over Zoom until it is safe to meet in person. Classes will run for six weeks and culminate in a small performance for family and friends.
